Debra Beck Lennox paints in watercolor, oil, acrylic & printmaking. Debra loves exploring many artistic interests from oceanside tidepools to life under the redwood trees. Ravens from Mendocino are her current favorite subject as they are vocal and playful, mischievous and mysterious.
Debra is the President of the Mendocino Art Center Board of Directors, and has been an Artists’ Co-op of Mendocino member for over 20 years. Art & architecture are complementary passions. Her participation with the MOSCA organization and the Mendocino Eco Artists keeps her inspired to create different visions of nature while playing with different techniques, depending on her mood. Printmaking has captured her heart right now, and exploring the relationship of black & white with a hint of color fascinates her. She loves Emmy Lou Packard from Mendocino, Hokusai from Japan and is experimenting with Andy Warhol’s multiple imagery manipulation with her Many Moons series.

デボラは、メンドシーノ・アート・センター理事会の会長であり、20年以上にわたってメンドシーノのアーティスト協同組合のメンバーでもあります。アートと建築は互いに補い合う、情熱の対象です。彼女はMOSCAオーガニゼーションやメンドシーノ・エコー・アーティスト に参加することで、その日の気分に応じて様々なテクニックを駆使しながら、様々な自然のビジョンを生み出すインスピレーションを得ています。今は版画に夢中で、白黒にほのかな色を加えた関係を探求することに魅了されています。メンドシーノ出身のエミー・ルー・パッカードや日本の北斎が大好きで、自らのMany Moonsシリーズではアンディ・ウォーホルの多重画像処理を試みてもいます。
